Pan North Wales Walk, 15th-17th August 2022

Myself and my sister/full-time Carer Melanie Beckley walked 71 miles over two and a half days in memory of our late, beloved mother Hazel Davies, who passed away aged 77 on Friday 18th December 2020 due COVID and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

We were assisted throughout the walk by our guide Saul Darlington, our family member Billy Beckley and our Cockapoo puppy Coco. On the third and final day, Carolyn Thomas MS, Labour Member of The Senedd for North Wales, accompanied us. She kept her promise to do this for six months after she visited Your Space’s office. She kindly asked to come onto the walk herself.

In total we raised just over £6,000 to enable The Hazel Davies Memorial Sensory Garden at Your Space’s base in Llay, Wrexham to become a reality.
